Europe's highest Solar Plant was inaugurated today on the Little Matterhorn, Switzerland. The power plant is located at an altitude of 3'883 meters (approx. 12440 feet) and has a size of 200 square meters (approx. 2150 square feet). It produces 22 kilowatts per year which is equivalent to the annual consumption of 12 households.
