Bali climate conference has started

Today, the 11-day conference has started that should prepare the way to a post-Kyoto protocol treaty. Most notable quote (source: AP):

"One of the stumbling blocks so far has been the fear of economic hardship," said Indonesian Environment Minister Rachmat Witoelar, the host of the Bali meeting.
